A New Year, A New You
I love the beginning of a new year simply because you get to hit the “RESET Button! You have the opportunity to start the year with a blank book and you get to write out what your year is going to look like. You get to set goals and create an action plan. How exciting is that!!!! and if you’re not excited then you know you need help and something has to change. I have some great resources and I’m here to help you. So, Let’s talk.,That’s a start

One of the ways I like to start my year off is with reflection of the past year. It’s important that you find the time to do this. I think about what worked so I can do more of that in the new year. I also like to “LET GO” of what didn’t work so I don’t repeat that in the new year. Once I’m done reflecting, I Write it all out then TELL a friend, spouse, kids, tell everyone what your plans are. It puts fire under your butt, they will remind you and hold you accountable.
One of the things I want to talk about that really worked for me in 2011 is the 30 day Jumpstart program I want to share with all of you. I went from a size 12 to a size 6 in a year. I went from almost 160 lbs to 135 lbs just by deciding I was going to make a change because I was looking for a healthy life-style. I was not looking for a quick fix. I was looking to improve my health for the long-term and BOY!!! let me just say that I feel AHMazing. I’m full of energy and I feel so strong. You wanna know the best part… This is something you can share with your family so everyone is eating healthy. So, enough about me, I want to share with you some information about this 30 Day Jump-Start Challenge which I will do with you as well. So ”Decide” to do this with me JANUARY 9th 2012! you won’t regret it.

While self-motivation is easy for some people, others need a little help. Those looking for healthy lifestyle changes can look to programs like Arbonne‘s 30 Days to Feeling Fit, which is a 30-day “mind and body detox and clean whole foods eating program,” according to Arbonne.
It’s not a deprivation diet or a fast but focuses on five areas of eating clean, increasing nutrient intake, eliminating allergenic and addictive foods and beverages, balancing blood sugar and supporting elimination organs.
“All five areas are supported by Arbonne’s whole food nutritional line that is certified vegan, free of gluten, dairy, soy, whey, artificial colors, flavors and sweeteners,” according to Arbonne.
Participants are guided by their own nutritional coach, and the program is designed for “people who want to detoxify the body and lose weight healthily,” as well as those who want to maintain or gain weight. Men can expect to lose 15 to 20 pounds and women can expect to lose 8 to 15 pounds.
“Whether you’re trying to lose weight, detoxify your body or improve your overall physical health, this program is so simple, and it offers something for everyone. The best part is it’s not a fad or a diet, but a lifestyle shift you and your family can make to create healthier long-term habits,” said Evelyn Bennett, Arbonne independent consultant.
Lastly, don’t forget about the H2O. Seymour said that water needs will vary by the individual’s size and physical activity, but a good guideline is to consume six to eight cups of fluid a day. Fluid needs will increase as activity and ambient temperature rise, so keep that in mind.
Here’s to a healthy 2012.
